Dean Hebert specializes in running, duathlon, and triathlon and coaches world-class athletes, fellow coaches, parents, and teams on performance enhancement. More than 95% of the athletes he has coached have reached new personal records. His broad background in athletics includes both the physical and mental aspects of training and performance.
With more than 100 career race victories and numerous course records to his name in his more than 40 years of running, Mr. Hebert himself is also a premier state and regional athlete and nationally ranked master’s runner.
Mr. Hebert has authored several books such as Coach, I didn’t run because..., and Runners Take Your Mark: The Parents' Guide to Youth Track and Field. He is also the author of hundreds of articles and is a regular contributor to publications like Runners World, Best Health Magazine, SWEAT Magazine, and the Washington Examiner.
His mission is for all runners - competitive and everyday runners alike - to fully enjoy the experience of running and racing.
