Mickey Beyer-Clausen is a serial entrepreneur and the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mental Workout, bringing together leaders in psychology and technology to help people improve their performance and well-being. Prior to founding Mental Workout, he co-founded and served as Chief Executive Officer at Trunk Archive, a full service image licensing agency representing the most engaging and sought after photographers. He also co-founded and served as Senior Vice President of Business Development of two leading domain name services, Speednames and Ascio Technologies. Since age 27, Mr. Beyer-Clausen has volunteered his time to causes he cares about. In 2002, he founded Happiness Foundation, whose innovative approach of providing pro-bono consulting services rather than money to non-profits was co-financed by the Danish Government. In 2012, he joined the advisory board of HealthCorps, founded by Dr. Mehmet Oz, to lead a nationwide movement toward a new generation of healthy young people. Mr. Beyer-Clausen has also been involved in several initiatives promoting his home country, Denmark.
Rob Coburn is a business executive and an advisor on strategy and communications to corporations in the financial and charitable sectors. Since 2004, Rob has held senior management roles in the institutional asset management industry, serving as Chief Operating Officer of Baker Brothers Investments, and before that Director of Investor Relations & Communications for Atticus Capital. From 2000 to 2004, he directed strategy and marketing for Magnet Communications, the national public relations arm of Havas, Inc. Prior to that, Rob spent a decade in corporate finance at JPMorgan/Chase. He serves on the board of Freedom to Marry Action, the national campaign for marriage equality. He has also been a longstanding Board Member of Musica Viva of New York, a classical music concert organization, as well as the Madoo Conservancy, a garden conservancy in eastern Long Island. He previously served as Treasurer and Trustee of the Unitarian Church of All Souls in Manhattan. A native of greater Boston, an avid cook and gardener, and a proud uncle and godfather, Rob lives with his partner, Averitt Buttry, in New York. He holds a BA in Government from Harvard College and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Wharton.
Michael Sherain is a Partner in Quadric, a management consultancy based in Copenhagen, Denmark. He specializes in helping international companies accelerate integration and growth. Prior to founding Quadric, Michael was a partner in the international business of Kunde & Co., a leading European marketing consultancy. Originally from San Francisco, he began working in Europe in 1997 when he moved to Copenhagen to take a senior marketing position in The Egmont Group, a publisher and distributor of Disney, Sony and other entertainment brands in 30 countries. Michael is a guest lecturer at the Stockholm School of Economics, Russia, and the PhD program of Risø DTU, the Danish National Laboratory for Sustainable Energy. He is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley.
