Mickey Beyer-Clausen

Mickey Beyer-Clausen

Mickey Beyer-Clausen is an award-winning entrepreneur and the CEO of Mental Workout, which he founded in 2009. Mickey is responsible for setting the overall direction and strategy for the company and leads worldwide business development. In the ’90s, he became one of the first to launch successful Internet businesses and today he is pioneering mobile media. Prior to founding Mental Workout, he co-founded Speednames, Ascio Technologies, Afilias, and Trunk Archive. He is also the Founder of Happiness Foundation, helping business leaders and experts donate their time, knowledge, and contacts to help nonprofits increase their impact. Mickey has been a guest lecturer at INSEAD and is frequently invited to speak at industry and consumer forums. Mickey has a degree in Economics and Management (HHX) from Niels Brock, Julius Thompsens Plads, Denmark. He also participated in the Young Managers Programme at INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France.

Rob Coburn

Rob Coburn is a business executive and an advisor on strategy and communications to corporations in the financial and charitable sectors. Since 2004, Mr. Coburn has held senior management roles in the institutional asset management industry, serving as Chief Operating Officer of Baker Brothers Investments, and before that Director of Investor Relations & Communications for Atticus Capital. From 2000 to 2004, he directed strategy and marketing for Magnet Communications, the national public relations arm of Havas, Inc. Prior to that, Mr. Coburn spent a decade in corporate finance at JPMorgan/Chase. Mr. Coburn serves on the board of Freedom to Marry Action, the national campaign for marriage equality. He has also been a longstanding Board Member of Musica Viva of New York, a classical music concert organization, as well as the Madoo Conservancy, a garden conservancy in eastern Long Island. He previously served as Treasurer and Trustee of the Unitarian Church of All Souls in Manhattan. A native of greater Boston, an avid cook and gardener, and a proud uncle and godfather, Mr. Coburn lives with his partner, Averitt Buttry, in New York. He holds a BA in Government from Harvard College and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Wharton.

Michael Sherain

Michael Sherain is a Partner in Quadric, a management consultancy based in Copenhagen, Denmark. He specializes in helping international companies accelerate integration and growth. Prior to founding Quadric, Michael was a partner in the international business of Kunde & Co., a leading European marketing consultancy. Originally from San Francisco, he began working in Europe in 1997 when he moved to Copenhagen to take a senior marketing position in The Egmont Group, a publisher and distributor of Disney, Sony and other entertainment brands in 30 countries. Michael is a guest lecturer at the Stockholm School of Economics, Russia, and the PhD program of Risø DTU, the Danish National Laboratory for Sustainable Energy. He is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley.
